Job Description
The person in this role would be expected to have extensive knowledge of common coding languages, be well-versed in WordPress and all of its functions, and would be able to find creative solutions to functionality challenges. All of this company’s websites are built with internally created templates, but each client can potentially pose challenges so someone with experience is highly sought after.
This role will work directly with the Creative Director, Project Lead, and occasionally the Support Director to execute web development tasks. The person in this role would likely handle the bulk of the build, as well as building out any custom functions.
Responsibilities
(Required)
- Review and comprehend system requirements outlined in project scope documents
- Provide accurate estimates for development time
- Oversee and contribute to the development of custom web applications/features within WordPress
- Solve creative development challenges
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers
- Contribute to developer documentation
(Nice to Have)
- Run monthly WordPress and Plugin updates on live websites
- Troubleshoot errors and make updates for live websites
Qualifications
- Someone with a high attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can spot the mistakes and correct them without being asked to.
