Social media can be a great (and free) marketing outlet for your business.  Here are some things that you will want to avoid.

    Social media pages aren’t just to promote yourself.  You need to be interesting, provide value, and be a resource to your following.
  2. Buying Your Friends
    It may be tempting to artificially boost your profiles, but just don’t do it.
  3. Ignoring People
    When someone interacts with you through a social media page, you need to respond to them.
  4. Neglect
    Social media is always happening.  Devote a little time each day to be active on it.
  5. Negativity
    No matter what anyone says about your business, it is important to never be negative on your social media pages.  Stay professional and cool tempered.
  6. Inappropriate Comments
    Everything you do on social media reflects you, be mindful of what you say and do.
